Western Sicily: on the V85 TT among the salt flats and Greek temples

The largest island in the Mediterranean has long been a melting pot of people and cultures, and over the millennia it has adapted and flourished. Thanks to its fortunate geographical position, as well as the friendliness and traditions of its inhabitants, Sicily today offers a varied landscape, rich in diversity and extraordinary sights that coexist and deserve to be discovered and fully appreciated.

One of the best ways to immerse yourself in the traditions and beauty of the art and landscape of Sicily is without doubt to treat yourself to a motorbike trip through its baroque villages and distinctive Mediterranean character… the important thing is that your bike is a Moto Guzzi!

For this (partial!) Guzzi guide to the beauty of Sicily, we have chosen the island’s west coast, with its expansive coastal salt flats and the ancient and mighty columns of its Greek temples. Our faithful travel companion, accompanying us along the winding roads overlooking the sea, is the magnificent V85 TT, with its evocative Rosso Uluru livery, but also in the new 2022 colours: Verde Altaj and Grigio Grigna; all to be discovered and admired, just like the picture-postcard views of this part of Sicily...
