In the year that marked the return of in-person EICMA, many people did not want to miss the eagerly awaited appointment in Milan with the International Motorcycle and Accessories Exhibition, held from 26 to 28 November.
Of course there were lots of stands, lots of new products and lots of expectations… but for us Guzzi fans – no need to get around it – the urge to attend had a strong, two-fold value. First of all, EICMA 2021 was the closing Italian event of the celebrations for the Moto Guzzi Centenary, a unique opportunity to experience, at least in part, being close to other Eagle fans and meeting all together; in addition, there was the intense curiosity to see in person the latest gem produced in Mandello del Lario and finally unveiled to the public!
As always, we of The Clan were there to gather the impressions of those who were the first to get an up-close look at the V100 Mandello, the undisputed protagonist of the large corner dedicated to Moto Guzzi. There were many different reactions and points of view, ranging from those who’ve had Moto Guzzi in their blood for generations to those who, thanks to this new bike, were fascinated by the history and strength of the Mandello Eagle…
