100 wishes for 100 years: Happy Centenary Moto Guzzi!

On 15 March 1921, “Società Anonima Moto Guzzi” was formed. The company partners were Emanuele Vittorio Parodi, the renowned shipowner from Genoa, his son Giorgio and his friend Carlo Guzzi, a former comrade in arms in the Italia Air Corps, along with his friend Giovanni Ravelli – an aviator like Parodi – who passed away on 11 August 1919 during a test flight. It was in memory of this friend that the spread-winged Eagle motif in the Moto Guzzi logo was chosen.

On 15 March 2021, we proud members of The Clan community are celebrating the extraordinary milestone of the first Moto Guzzi centenary as we pay homage to this century of marvellous bikes, victories, adventures and incredible personalities. 

Today it is up to us to give voice to the generations of bikers who have chosen, choose and will choose to be part of the Eagle Brand’s history, because without them – and without us – this legend would not exist.

Heartfelt thanks go from Moto Guzzi and the staff of The Clan to the hundreds of community members all over the world who, by responding to the call, have sent in their congratulations videos.
Many, so many videos: exhilarating, touching, creative and exciting. We were able to put together only a hundred or so in this short video, but for us, today, they are worth hundreds of thousands, making us feel part of a single huge family, also and above all at this time when many of us are forced to stay away…
