Museums At Night in London from 26 to 28 October 2017

We all know that London’s wealth of cultural offerings is both extensive and intriguing at any time of year, but how much more exciting would it be to see them all in a new light, by night when the lights are dim and the imagination runs rife?

Museums At Night is already an established festival that is held throughout the entire United Kingdom twice a year with museums, art galleries, historic sites and exhibitions thrown open to the public in order to reveal their treasures at unusual and attractive times. The event is the brainchild of the non-profit organisation Culture24 and is aimed at raising funds to promote local culture and traditions throughout Great Britain.

The next event is set to run from Thursday 26 to Saturday 28 October 2017 and promises to repeat the same successful recipe as in previous editions, namely an immersion experience in which the concept of “a visit” goes beyond what is happening in each of the specific venues, but is also reflected on every street corner and thus blending in with the local nightlife.
So you could very easily find yourself sipping a cocktail with friends while admiring well-known or lesser known works of art or letting yourself get carried away on amazing guided tours led by the staff of the respective venues.
